Open Ph.D. and Post-Doc Positions Available at USC in Marina del Rey, CA, USA
The University of Southern California's Computational Emotion Group is a leader in the areas of affective computing, computational modeling of emotional processes, and virtual humans.
PhD positions with assistantships are available beginning in the Spring Semester (January 2008). Research topics include modeling the role of emotion in cognitive processes and the role of nonverbal behavior in human interaction. All applicants must apply and be admitted to USC's PhD program.
A Post-doctoral research position is currently open. Desired skills include experience with cogntive modeling and/or strong background in experimental design and data analysis.
