Japan Pre-/Post-doc Fellowships from JSPS
Dear Friends and Colleagues of Emotion Research,
This posting is meant to draw your attention to attractive Pre- and Post-doctoral Fellowships offered by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).
http://www.jsps.go.jp/english/index.html
Both "standard" type (1 or 2 years) and "short-term" type (15 days to 11 months) tenures are supported. The monthly salary is about 3,000 EURO (3,930 USD), tax-free, besides many other benefits. Please see the JSPS website for details regarding each category.
If you or a colleague of yours would be interested to apply for a JSPS Fellowship on the Emotion topic (or a related field, like embodied conversational agents), I would be happy to support the application, and collaborate on some interesting project on emotion.
Please note that JSPS Fellowships are not restricted to particular scientific fields, nor particular Japanese academic institutions.
You may also check the Japan Government ("Monbukagakusho") Scholarships at

If you are interested and might have any question, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
