eNTERFACE06 Call for Participation

The Call for Participation for eNTERFACE 06, July 17 - August 11, Dubrovnik,

Croatia, is now open.

eNTERFACE events are unique hands-on research gatherings, where

researchers from different cuntries work together for four weeks on

specific projects, while benefiting from high quality tutorials and

experiencing rich social activities. The first eNTERFACE was held this

summer in Mons, Belgium, and was a tremendous success (see attached

report for further information).

The eNTERFACE Scientific Committee has accepted 9 exciting projects that

participants will work on. The project descriptions are available in the

Call text. While working intensively on these projects in mixed

international teams, the participants will receive weekly tutorials on

various aspects of multimodal interface design, given by invited senior

researchers. Last but not least, the participants will enjoy the social

activities in the historic city of Dubrovnik and its beautiful surroundings.

As the success of eNTERFACE05 has proven, the mix of scientific work,

learning and socializing is a winning formula, and we expect the

participants to return from eNTERFACE06 enriched with new friends,

acquaintances, knowledge and experience.

The submission deadline is February 15th 2006.
