Dr Kunxia Wang is an Associate Professor at Anhui Jianzhu University's Department of Computer Science and Technology. She received Bachelor and Master degrees in Computer Science Department from Anhui University of Science and Technology, China and a Ph.D. degree from Hefei University of Technology in Computer Department in 2002, 2005, and 2015, respectively. In October 2017, she was a Visiting Associate Professor in the Department of psychology department at Texas A&M University.
Dr Kunxia Wang’s research interests are in the areas of affective computing, machine learning and signal processing. She has acted as a PC member for some workshops and conferences in her areas of research and expertise. She has been involved as PI and Co-I in several projects funded by the Anhui Provincial Natural Science Foundation, Open Project Program of the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition (NLPR), National Natural Science Foundation of China, Anhui Province Key Laboratory Project of affective computing and advanced intelligent machines Foundation and Anhui Province Outstanding Talent Fund. Her recent research work focused on speech emotion recognition, multimodal emotion recognition.
