Magnenat-Thalmann, N., Kim, H., Egges, A., & Garchery, S. (2005). Believability and interaction in virtual worlds. International Multi-Media Modelling Conference (pp. 2--9). IEEE Computer Society Press.

This is a publication.

In this paper we present a discussion about believability for Virtual Environments, emotional simulation and also Embodied Conversational Agents (ECAs). We will discuss about the definition of believability and the three elements of believable environments which are immersion, presentation and interaction. We also present a discussion about designing interfaces for believable interactions. Finally, ECA, emotional and personnality simulation are explained and presented.
