Ronald Böck

Ronald Böck received the diploma degree (Dipl.-Inf.) in Computer Science, in 2007, from the Ilmenau University of Technology, Germany and the PhD (Dr.-Ing.) from Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany, in 2013. He is with the Cognitive Systems Group at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg and member of the CRC/TRR 62. In his research he is interested in disposition recognition and involvement detection from speech as well as on information fusion from multiple resources/sensors and several classifiers. Furthermore, he is working in interdisciplinary cooperation to improve classifier results by adaptation to specific users or user groups. For this, multimodal analyses have to be done and adequate classifiers have to be generated. He published appropriate results on several journals, conferences, and workshops and further, organised various workshops on related topics. Moreover, he is guest editor of the “Journal on Multimodal User Interfaces” and edited several books. Ronald Böck is co-chairing the AAAC LIG Germany (
