Affect sensing using pure lexical means is a problem that is studied by the research community since a very long time. The main question is, can computers perceive emotions conveyed by a pure text? Humans can do it very reliable.

There are some promising approaches on this field that focus primarily on the level of analyzing emotional content of short phrases. In my research I investigate this problem once more taking into special consideration emotional texts (reviews) or dialogues (continious stream of remarks) as a whole.
